Lodges on the River

Upper River: The lodge at Judd Lake is the sole option you'll have at the head waters. This lodge does fly out fishing as well as winter activities being supported by helicopters and float planes.

Mid-Point: There are 4 lodges at the mid-point with one offering heli-fishing and the other three offering more traditional access to the fish using jet boats to get you onto the fish. The lodges are all within a mile stretch at the mid-point section of the river and will provide assistance should problems arise on a float trip.

The Mouth: This area has four lodges, one private and three commercial lodges. The three commercial lodges offer access to some of the best fishing at the mouth. They utilize jet boats to gain access to these areas along a 3 mile stretch. The private lodge is the old Talachulitna River Lodge now in private hands and is only available to members. This lodge has an airstrip for their private use.
