    Points of Interest: The mouth, Friday Creek, Thursday Creek, Deep Creek, Grayling Creek, The Forks, Hell's Gate, The Flipper, and Judd Lake are the most noted spots on the river and creek. Most are popular for fishing but some are noted for their rapids or camping. Some of these spots are noted on the map below.

    Maps: The Talachulitna River is located on USGS maps TYONEK C-4 and D-4, which are 15 minute maps. Members and others have various data and maps of the river; even a complete set of arial photographs from the midpoint to the mouth of the Talachulitna exist. The Alaska Atlas & Gazetteer shows the river but in a very small scale; therefore, to plan a trip you'll need the use of the 15 minute USGS maps.
